In reading your editorial, I was surprised by several of your comments and wish to respond:
I get a feeling from your statements that you really are not for the AuD, and feel that your editorial is an attempt to slow down the movement by belittling it/making it seem ridiculous through your use of old cliches. I believe whole-heartedly that the AuD will be a reality, will be THE entry level for practice of the profession, and will be good for both the profession of audiology and the clients it serves.
